Last week we wrapped up our 40-Days of Prayer campaign with the conclusion of a very successful Polishing the Pulpit’s SPARK so what’s next you might ask?
Follow-up is next! We had local guests attend during SPARK and I will be visiting these folks in the coming days. Sometimes a new convert to the Lord starts with that person visiting our services. Please pray for success in the follow-up process as I reach out to these folks.
Continued spiritual growth is next! We felt the spiritual growth last week as we were inspired by the many great lessons, excellent song service, and wonderful fellowship but let’s not let it stop there. To borrow a phrase from the ladies, let’s ‘dig deeper’ in our study of God’s Word. May we all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord!
Dreaming of bigger and better is next! Let’s not rest on our laurels. Let’s dream big. What big things can we accomplish for our Lord in the coming months? Bigger goals? Bigger outreach? Bigger results? As always, may our great God receive the glory!
Remember the words of Paul as he wrote to the church in Philippi: I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Be sure to express thankfulness to our elders for the wisdom of putting together a fantastic SPARK.
Don’t forget our annual Minister’s Holiday Open House on the second Sunday afternoon in December (Dec. 8th). It’s our way to say thanks for another wonderful year. Each person attending will take home a special gift from our house to yours.
