God’s Plan of Salvation: LIVING LIKE CHRIST

God’s Plan of Salvation: LIVING LIKE CHRIST

The Bible has only one theme: the redemption of mankind. Everything encapsulated in the Holy Writ is to point each one of us toward God. To fully understand this is to understand the one need man has—salvation. After a man hears and believes the truth of God’s Word, repents of sin, makes a confession of Christ and is baptized into Christ. That’s it, right?!? Is there anything else? Well, yes… the child of God then is required by God to live like His dear Son.

To begin a journey toward Heaven is not enough. We must remain on that journey, faithfully. We must strive to serve our Commander-in-chief, faithfully. We must work fervently in the Kingdom, faithfully. We must offer true worship unto our Creator, faithfully. We must endure hardness as a good solider of Christ, faithfully unto death. By following God’s pattern, our eyes open into Eternity seeing our Father proud of our service and hearing those words- “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
