God has an interesting outlook on us. He
provides our needs. He provides for what
we do not yet understand that we need. All
good things come from God (James 1:17).
He does, however, require something from
us- obedience. He expects us to see the good
and follow those things. Notice what He
says:
1. Necessity
a. If I love God- John 14:15
b. If I am Hid friend- John 15:14
c. To inherit- Matthew 7:21-23
d. Fear God- Ecclesiastes 12:13
e. Expects- Deuteronomy 11:1
2. No Substitutes
a. Jews tried- John 5:39-40
b. Jonah tried- Jonah 1:1-3
c. Faith only- James 2:17-26
d. Traditions- Matthew 15:1-9
3. Eternal Salvation
a. Those who desire- Matthew 7:21
b. To become sons- John1:12
c. Doer of the word- James 1:22
d. Fail to do- James 4:17
e. Whosoever will- Revelation 22:17
4. Results
a. Right to the tree- Revelation 22:14
b. A mansion- John 14:1-3
c. New creature- 2 Corinthians 5:17
d. Redeemed- Ephesians 1:7
e. Blessed – James 1:25
f. Forever abide- 1 John 2:17
g. Purified soul- 1 Peter 1:22
